Default Ohio muzzle loader hunts - suggestions please???

I came across a bunch of outfitters and was leaning towards this one, any help would be greatly appreciated...

It appears to be in a good location?

We may bag the outfitter deal and go to state land?

Anyone hunt Egypt or Copper lands that could pass on any good info?

Most of the smaller state lands in Ohio are a mess during gun/muzzleloader season.

The bigger tracts of Wayne Nat'l do allow some isolation...and there are still enough hunters to push the deer all over the place. If it were me...and I had to hunt public land...I would go to Wayne Nat'l down around Nelsonville and get my butt a long ways off the road early. I'd climb into a stand and stay there ALL day.

I totally agree with pro-line. Public land before paying the price for a outfitter. Unless you want to "up" your chances and pay the price tag. Its a gamble I wouldnt take.

Ohio is chalk full of good deer. By the time muzzleloader season comes around the deer will be calm and moving again. Bucks pushed from there public land homes will be back.

Hey,if you check around some farmers in ohio ,you wont have to pay anything.Ive hunting outside of cambridge for past 5 yrs dont cost me anything but beer he drink .I buy him few cases and hes happy. So check out some farms and save your money and every now and then throw them a 50 or buy them a pie or something.Stay Safe
