Is it just me or does his rack look HUGE compared to his body in that last picture. Idk, it just looks really tall and his main beams seem to be long. Looks kind of unproportional to me but idk. Great deer! Wish he was on my trail cam instead haha.

Barnes...I hunt north of Benton myself...good to see some big bucks running on your side of the mountain...good luck on him

I think he is older than what you think. I agree 3 1/2 years old. He is a shooter now in my book!

He is a shooter now in my book!
Trust me, I would unload my clip if I saw him in the woods during shooting light

There's also an 8 pointer that made my jaw drop around the property. Saw him once. He's got every bit of 15" G2s and 10" G3s. 6" brow tines and a good 23" wide. Just awesome. And spooky, even at night. It's just nice to know there's a chance one of those guys could walk by when I'm out there.

If you hunt north of Benton, I'm sure you've been to the Red Rock Corner Store. There's a picture of a nice 12 pointer hanging up. State Game Land buck.

That's something I don't mind in the least. We also have a buck around that weighs about 300lbs and only has 6 points. One extreme to another.

I am normally there for the monster subs, but have not been there for awhile...I did eat dinner at Ricketts Glen Hotel the one night...but will check that buck out man!
