Default Homemade horn mounts

I make some horn mounts with some of my grandpas wood working equipment and wanted some opinions I sell them for anywhere from $5-$10 tell me if you think its to much for these
This one is done it is one of the $8 ones

This one aint done it is $5

The ones that are $10 I put like a velcro or w/e it is over the bone between the horns what is yall's opinions?

I think you're referring to velcro.

No, I don't think it's too expensive. Rather, not enough. The board had to be bought,
then cut, then routered and sanded. Then it's varnished/stained. For $8 that sounds
like a lot of work, but a good deal for someone.

The only thing, is that it seems large to me... almost too long as well. Since you requested
opinions, that's mine. LOL!

i think you should clean up the edges where you cut it. it dont matter how much you have in materials and labor, if it dont look good it aint worth much. i dont think i like seeing the screws either.

Yeah, try using a straight edge with your router. You can clamp it in place before you cut and get a more precise look. Are you including antlers, or is it just the board?

LOL! In my first post, I meant to say:

"I think you're referring to velvet."

You may also try and locate the antlers lower on the
board. It may give it a more even look instead of
having much of it below the antlers.

LOL!

I would change the shape of the plaque to more of a "badge" shape, and center the antlers more. I like the look of the screws though. No seriously, just stay in school. You won't regret it.
