I didn't shoot both of these in the same morning. I shot the first one on 11/20 which is the opening morning of our first gun seaon, and I shot the second one on 12/3 which is opening morning of the second gun season.

I never realized you could draw more than 1 either-sex tag for firearms season. But the way the regs and allowances have changed I guess it is possible.

because can't you only take 1 buck during shotgun in IL? 2 total?

I shot both deer with a muzzleloader, but used my firearm tag for the first one and my muzzleloader tag for the second. Opening weekend for muzzleloader season is the second firearm season.
