Default Citrus Scent?

Where I work we process and sell essential oils of many varities. Of course, being in Florida, or main focus is citrus oils. I've heard that deer like oranges, so I was thinking about trying a bit of the oil as a lure. What do ya'll think? Might this be a good strategy? The stuff is pretty fragrant, I no longer smell it, but visitors to the plant always remark on it.

I don't know if it works as a lure, but there are plenty of wild sour oranges where I hunt and I'll use it as a cover scent. I squeeze a piece of peel so that the oil squirts into the air.
