    Thumbs up I finally got the whole story this afternoon
    My daughter and SIL were riding on the 4 wheeler and stopped for a break. My SIL happen to see antler glisten as the buck looked up from his bed (10:30 AM) My daughter couldn't see the buck as he ducked his head down and layed low (a typical big mule deer buck trick) she finally spotted it laying in the sage brush 150 yds out and put one in his neck with her new Howa .243 (shooting a 100 gr Federal) and he never moved! They took it to the Taxidermist, who measured it at 175!

    Congrats to your daughter and a fine buck indeed... We do not have them here either but they sure look like a great deer to hunt for...
