I asked the same question. Its at a friends camp still up north. I think he said its a neck mount but its also old school done with I think plaster lol. He said it weighs a ton. I told him to get it scored just for the heck of it.

really cool pics, I always wanted to start a collection of old school deer camps pics but they are really hard to come by. Thats a nice find and even better when you know the people.

Hes got a bunch more. They lived on venison and moose meat back then I guess. Just take a look at the clothes they were wearing. Its kinda funny.
