I agree with sekar49. We should think safety first before the enjoyment. Remember our life is only one..

PY's got it right !!!

"Taking your daughter or son hunting is so much more than hunting. It's about grass root values for life. This day and age so many people let themselves be caught up in the electronics world..........and it's really sad."

Jeff, you are one proud father...........as you should be !

I also take my 2 Daughters Hunting and they love the Outdoors too,I ended up buying a Rossi Youth Gun with the 3-barrel combination for them.My oldest Daughter shot a nice Doe about 3 years ago and My youngest Girl has been Turkey Hunting and Deer Hunting with me and has also taken an interest in shooting a Bow so thats the next item on my list to get for them! ;)

Cool pics! I will definitely be doing a lot of that once we return to the states. My little girl has only been on a hog hunt so far.

Parker bows have a great program for young people. You buy the first bow and as they grow Parker will sell you a new set of limbs for the same bow as they grow and are able to pull more weight. The price is 50 dollars per set of limbs, but it is a lot cheaper than a new bow every couple years. They have a life time warranty, and are very dependable. They call the program "growing up with Parker bows" I think. My son is now 23 and he grew up with Parker bows and still to this day buys Parker. He loves the dependability and their quietness. I my self hunt with a Bear Attack for deer, but got a chance to buy A new in box, 03 model Hunter Mag that I use for hogs and love the Dependability. They're great when it comes to customer service too, as they changed the string on my bow, even though it was new, it had stretched and wasn't reaching it's max weight potential, time will do that. Anyway just a thought for those of you looking for a bow for your young ones.

Here is my hunting Buddy; my son will turn 6 in July and this will be the first year we go hunting together. He owns 2 rifles, a Daisy Buck BB gun and a Cricket .22. I'm still training him with the BB gun first before I put him behind the cricket. He goes with me to the ranch every Saturday and enjoys being outdoors. He will be sitting with me in the blind this fall.
