hello all
does anyone out there no when doe`s become unfurtile the reason i ask is when i was bow hunting i saw a monster doe. her back was as high as my chest (im 6`3) and when i asked about her the property owner said to me ``oh ya she walks alone``so now that it is the rut maybe she is unfurtile hense why she walks alone

I'm 6'3" and there's no way you saw a doe whose back was as high as your chest--that's pushing toward 5'! The head would then be about as tall as you!

Just peg her. She'll taste better than anything else you kill this season and by the way you describe her, there will be plenty of that high quality meat. Only thing that tastes better are yearlings.
