thanks and yes i'm trying to get him on the ground.

He'll score a good bit lol.

bigbulls 11-06-2009 06:33 PM

I know it would be real dang hard if he were to come into range but that is a young deer, probably 3.5 years, and if you can hold out one more year knowing he won't get shot he will be a true world class buck.

dtgocats 11-06-2009 06:41 PM

Big Bulls....

you couldn't be more right. That to me is what is amazing. I just don't know if i can hold off but if he made it i really think he would be a top 10 non typical kansas buck which is really really saying something.

Bingo!!! Not saying you should hold out, but that is a 3.5 year old deer. He walks past me he gets smoked though! lol

Damn! For a young deer, he has a heck of a rack! I don't know how much control you have of the property he lives on, and as hard as it would be...............give him another year at least. Indeed a record book deer.......with a little more age. Lol, I know, that will be tough............

gregrn43 11-06-2009 10:08 PM

He's a dandy for sure

7MMXBOLT 11-06-2009 10:33 PM

The nice thing about that buck beside the impressive rack is he's got two maybe three years of breeding under his belt. Nice gene poll going. To be honest if that sucker walked under my stand he would be on the wall. You know if anyone else is hunting that piece and they have a chance at him....you won't see him next year...you can count on it!

SWThomas 11-07-2009 04:25 AM

That's a great buck! Score shouldn't matter.

StillHunter90 11-07-2009 05:03 AM

Wow very nice buck. I wouldnt blame you for shooting him. lol. What he lacks in mass he sure in heck makes up for in points. Letting him go so he can grow would be tough for most people.

BIG DONNIE BRASCO 11-07-2009 05:24 AM

I agree with everyone else....Imagine what another year (or two) would do for his MASS !!!!!

Keep us posted.

Beautiful buck. Kansas huh:wave:

Kris24 11-07-2009 07:24 AM

180+ but yes he lacks mass--tough to wait another year

dpj1030 11-07-2009 10:09 AM

215 at least. Shoot him dead why you can or your neighbor might do it for you. abahaaah

rack tracker 11-07-2009 03:40 PM

wow, Whhaaaaat a buck, like the others said imagine what a year or 2 would do for his mass. But, do you think this buck will give you more than 1 crack at him, if you do see him from the stand at all? All I can say is best of luck harvesting such a fine creature for sure. They don't grow'em like that where I'm from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

1shotkill1993 11-07-2009 04:45 PM

I agree.........Beautiful deer for sure........I would have to SHOOT!

Hunting Kuk 11-08-2009 08:23 AM

200 or so he is a big buck no doubt kill him!

Manybeards 11-08-2009 10:17 AM

He'll gross 190. Not much for mass. I'll be suprised if he does'nt get broken up quite abit in the next couple of weeks....If he does,I'd try to give him another year. On the other hand,if you have an opportunity to take him,and he's intact...... Let her rip!

Hunt4Life23 11-08-2009 01:18 PM

Wow that is one beautiful buck. Another year would be good for him but i doubt many people could pass that kind of buck up.
