Wasn't your math, but you still had to ask. 
Anyway, just to clarify in the event you're not sure...
There are ten 1/10ths in an inch.
There are four 1/4ths" in an inch.
There are sixteen 1/16ths in an inch.
There are eight 1/8ths in an inch.
1.) One 1/8th is 1/8" of an inch.
2.) Two 1/8ths or 2/8 is 1/4" of an inch.
3.) Three 1/8ths is 3/8ths of an inch.
4.) Four 1/8ths or 4/8 is same as 1/2" inch.
then 5/8ths
6/8ths = 3/4" of an inch.
7/8ths
Eight 1/8ths" or 8/8 = 1/1 or 1" inch.
Hope that clarifies some. I'm ok with fractions and decimals, but get me some trig or calc and I'm screwed. LOL! Geometry... excellent.(ok, not the best either. LOL!)
