Saw a couple small bucks saturday and killed a big doe yesterday. Didnt see any other deer though, but the real action is a few weeks away still.

Your not alone guys. Where we usually see all kinds of deer, there's nary a one in sight. We just started getting colder weather here and hopefully things will start to move. I think the does, and bucks, are still deep in the swamp and are not moving around. Anyway, here's hoping !! Our rifle season starts the 2nd of Nov.

people have been having the same problem in Illinois as well..i think it is due to the fact that there are still so many crops in they still have places to hide..however, i have been having an outstanding year thus far..maybe im just gettin lucky though
