Default Old hunting memories

About 4 or 5 years ago, when you could still deer hunt with dogs in north arkansas we were at deer camp wich was a yearly tradition. So far that week i had shot a nice 8 point (133 1/8) and had seen several other good bucks. well about the third day into hunting i told gramps i was gonna shoot a bigger buck that day and he said "yeah and you will **** and fall back in it too" (remember that quote) . 2 hours later i got to within 100 yds or so of our meeting spot on an old logging road and saw a dandy buck standin in a mud hole, i pulled up shot and floored him he was a massive 9 point (137 1/2). I know talk about luck. about 15 inutes later everyone started to show up, but strangely my granpa was not there. Everyone was busting at the seems laughin. It took these guys 5 minutes to catch their breath enough to tell me what was going on. (you better sit down for this) The storie is (grandpa neither confirms or denys this storie)
he had to go # 2 and found him the perfect spot against an old leaning tree, but what he forgot is the overalls he was wearin had a hood. well he got done with his buisness pulled his overalls back on and walked back to th truck, well i guess one of his lil buddies accidently plopped into the hood of his overalls and was just hangin out with him (lmao) well dad was standin downwind and said damn you need to wipe again joking...... well to end the storie they discovered grandpas lil buddy and those overalls are still on the hood of an ole' shot up car at the place we now call **** head......

Im sorry but i had to tell that storie, sick it may be but it is a memory that makes everyone that was there and some who were not laugh about it every time it is told. I have a thousand hunting memories but i believe that one is one i know for sure will never be forgotten

LOL! That was funny! Stinky too!

=============

My father, brother and I were out hunting.('bout 23yrs ago) We split ways from the pickup and agreed to meet back up at dark. Long story short, I was headed back on the trail I just walked down and here comes a buck right up the trail! I had a Winchester 94 30-30 and emptied it. BBD! Big buck down!

Well, that was how it was for me. However, my brother had his version...

He or I didn't know it, but he came upon the trail I was on and headed up it. All of a sudden a "movement" came upon him, so he proceeded to squat and take-care-of-business along the trail. Amidst his business he saw movement to his right and a buck stepped out in the open. His gun was just out of reach and by the time he was finished, he was spotted and the buck ran off...

...right towards me!

Now you heard the rest of the story!

Almost... he didn't tell me this until about 6 years ago!
