Last 12 years I've been hunting the Water Gap (federal public land) I don't see as many deer as I did, the bucks I do see are scrubs, with a few decent bucks from time to time, lots of bears, which I took one out during the first year hunt

Yeah we do small late season muzzleloader drives on the federal land and see a ton of bears and a lot of deer. We also see mostly small bucks but there are some bigger ones mixed in. Two years ago I shot a nice 8 pointer between christmas and new years.

Havn't see chasing but see some good rub and scrape lines. Bring the deer to me.
