Found the big boy!!!

Well after a long night we woke early and began looking for my buck at about 6:30am. Thanks to the rain last night we found very very little blood. After following a faint blood trail with no luck for about an hour we split up and began to "grid" the area. At approx. 9:30 one of my buddies starting yelling that he had found him. What a relief! He was bigger than I had thought. He had 3 stickers I had never noticed on him before to make him a 13pt. He dressed out at 237lbs. I know he hasen't dried yet, but one of my hunting buddies who helped me look is an official B&C scorer, and after measuring him up he scored 167! My biggest bow kill to date!

Thanks everyone. He actually went alot farther than I had thought. He was double lunged but ended up going about 200+ yards. He was laying in some swale grass on a swamp edge when he was found.

Wow-what a buck!! congrads on the recovery. You must have been gettin pretty down after a few hrs of nothing. The lowest of lows to the highest of highs in a second. Great job and congrads again!!!
