Seems as if they just arent moving. Thurs night saw four shooter bucks between two farms. Now hunting friday and this am and not a damn thing has been seen or heard. Rainy and cool (50 ish degrees) and barometer of 29. Rain supposed to move out tommorrow night i think for a nice monday morning. Oh yah Im in South Bend IN, and have to go home to chicago suburbs monday afternoon. Please help. Am I missing something simple?

First thing that popped out at me was the weather. Rainy. If you know where the bedding area is, then you need to move a bit closer to that area during those adverse weather conditions. And if you still see nothing, then I sure would be in the woods come Monday morning at first light. They should be moving normally once the weather has subsided. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

deer dude

i would say time to go hikin, if they aint movin cause its winter and acorns and pecans are fallin so they dont have ta go far to eat, and if its rainin they dont have ta go fer water...so get ur best waterproof boots on, take a turkey call and use it while you forage..deer dont mind turkey, and if yall dont have turkey , (is there a place) the deer will be curious to the sound and chek ya out n e waz

i would definatly be out there when the rain stops like sum1 has said, is a good time , and i would say if ya didnt see anything while sittin still b4 10 am its time to go hiking, gl hope ya get ya a dandy

I never had as much luck with a full moon, but rainy days have usually been good to me, unless there are downpours all day. And the clouds help cancel the full moon.

i agree, anytime it starts clouding up i want to be in my stand. if you're hunting anywhere near the edge of a field they'll start walking before the weather gets too bad.
