Default Still good...?

well i was walkin to my camera and took a diff route just to look at an old mineral site i had....and i found a new scrape about 10 yards away....after i look at it i take about 2 steps away from it i scared something up at 20 yards...i have no idea what it was but it made one heck of a commotion....stopped....snorted and i kept on my way hopeing i didnt scare it off for good.....this was all 100 yards from my camera/stand....still good or is the deer gone for good?

I would says its still good, as long as you dont make it a habit. just the same as bumping a deer going in to hunt, which is the say as what you did just going to check cam...

If every deer that we jumped or kicked out was gone for good, it would make for some difficult hunting. Just don't make it a habit of spending too much time in the home range of the deer. Plus always be aware of the wind, no matter if we're hunting, scouting or just checking out cams, ect in the woods.
