The two most impressive deer to me were one that I missed and one that I had to watch walk away (no way to get to it)...both were huge...
The one I missed...160+ class 10 point...
Big bodied deer ~ 200-250 lbs...rack was about 20" wide, bone white and squarish in shape...G1 (brow) were about 8-10 inches,
the G2s were about 12-14 inches with a diameter greater than my wrists...the G3s were about 10 inches...the G4s were about 5-6 inches...the mass was very heavy...
Obvious that this deer had all three categories, but the one that sticks in my mind so much is how tall and square the rack was...
The second deer that I watched walk away...200+ class 12 point...
From the same stand...and it is on public land!
Both deer were also nearly perfectly symmetric...which I really liked...going back again this fall...never know what you might find hunting there...
