Default Hill Country

I recently signed a lease in SW Wis. Land looks great and stands are hung. Will be saving it for the pre-rut and rut primarily. I'm not familiar hunting in hill country - but watched the Hill Country Bucks video and it was a great video on prevailing and thermal winds. My big concern is being able to sneek into the stands on those steep hillsides without busting every deer in earshot. Also concerned about angle of shot when sitting above these trails. I'm only 16 feet up but seems more like 40 feet when shooting downhill and it is something I cannot simulate in practice. Any tips?
