Texas non resident varmit tags, which include hogs, are $45.
Arkansas deer and turkey---------------------------- $150
Nebraska for deer is around --------------------------$200
Mississippi for deer is about --------------------------$200
Pennsylvania for a bear & a deer is------------------- $130

Looks like somewhere in the neighboorhood of $725

Lot of money but I'm worth it!!!!!

Starting the season on September 19th in SE Pennsylvania. Special regs area early doe. Then heading 125 miles NW to hunt in upstate PA for the regular archery on October 2nd. I will only hunt these two regions.

Money for out of state tags is a good point. But time is another. Work, family and house-hold chores take a lot of time. "The leaves need rakin', the wood needs choppin'....."

I have one striped bass trip planned in November and I'll probably take my son squirrel hunting once or twice so there's 2 or 3 more Saturdays.

But hey, time in the woods and one decent buck would make the season a success!!!

By the way - I hope you get a bear in PA. There's too many of those suckers around here these days. And they can sure eat them some fawns.

Where would you hunt bears in PA?

I believe we'd be hunting in Potter county.

I am retired, paid my dues, invested some what wisely and can afford to travel and hunt. I am very fortunate yes inded.

I hunt in the north central zone in Florida the whole comprehensive season(Sept 26-Jan 22) and then the last 2 weeks of the northwest zone. I have no reason to go anywhere else and hunt by then, in fact I'm ready to start saltwater fishing before the season is over.
