I have a few plum trees and see deer around them all day long . The young deer are the worst ones they dont even run away but the old bucks have a sweet too. Any time a eight or ten point buck will stay and feed on plums about 50 yards away while you stand in the open and watch them you might think they have some attraction for deer .

I know i like wild plums, and im assuming the deer do too, since theres solid deer beds in the brush around our wild plum trees. Sometimes we cant get to them before the deer do.

Sure they like them, but they will be long gone before hunting season comes in.

Maybe where you hunt! They're just dropping now and season here in Wisconsin opens a week from today...there will be some around.

Deer love Plums both domestic and wild! They are an early season soft mass and are mostly gone by the end of June here in the south.

Muscadine & Scuppernong grapes will grow into December here and the deer love them.Plums tend to be a summer crop.
