With the freezer empty, I planned to arrow the first set of tenderloins / backstraps I saw. Hunting horns now.

my roommates first mule deer:jaw:, and i got nothing:violin:. 20 minus. of shooting time left, and 2 shots from the 243. i got off a quick and clean missed shot at a second buck that was with him:bash: he was just as big. i guess there i always next year. hope everyone had fun out hunting.

killed him in south jersey on public land. got up in the stand at 3:30 and i shot him at 3:58. he was followin a doe who came onto my bait pile. this is my biggest buck so far. he only ran about 70 yards. weighed in at 150lbs

First Deer down in five min this year! Small but he will do.

Oct 3rd. My first day of bow hunting this year in Wisconsin. This big boy walks out with 30 minutes left to hunt. Shot him12 yards form my stand and watched him drop 15 yards away. My biggest bow buck yet. And the tallest buck I have shot. G2's are each over 13 inches.

Just got the buck of a lifetime .Shot him with my bow on Oct 9th.He grossed 138 and field dressed 285 lbs.He was a brute and Im proud to finally bag a nice one.

killed this one in northern mich, on the ground, no blind, no bait, and called him in by mouth. not real big but my biggest with a bow, very proud of him!

Holy crap, that's a big deer. do you have any pics that show his body better?

Got this one opening day of rifle season. Shot him at 238 yards with my Browning A-bolt WSM .270.

Looks like the 11 i killed last season with longer tines. Mine was 22 inside. that looks like it may be a bit wider. Man thats a good looking deer.

Parker contender xp 5 yard double lung shot This boy was following a couple does and a spike which all came out in open areas at 25 yards on each side of me. This guy came out directly under me in the laurel that I had my stand in. He just thought that he was hiding.:s4: He ran about 40 yard grunted a couple of times and went down. If you look close you can see where he fell on the arrow and the nock end jammed back up in to he gut.

I was so excited that when I got my phone out to call hubby I dropped it out of the stand.

Here's my first post, I've been coming here alot on the forums and have seen alot of good advice and tips. Figured I would finally sign up and show my kill from this past weekend down in South Carolina

To date: 1 button buck, 3 does, 1 8-Pointer. All killed in Iowa.
Does and B.B. were killed w/ ML, the buck was my first bow buck. Hopefully I can add more from the next two weeks of rifle huntin in MO.

here's my 1st one of this season. 7-pointer - sat all day yesterday in the downpour from hurricane Ida. Had a hell of a time getting him out, but worth it

South Dakota Buck
 

Here are two Buck I took from a recent South Dakota rifle hunt:

Nice South Dakota deer man! Gah those things are huge out there.

This is a fifteen point buck that I killed in Culpepper Va. on Nov. 5th durning the black powder season. The rack is 22" wide outside and there is a six inch drop tine with four points on it. The buck was 200lbs. not field dressed. This is my biggest buck to date.

This is a closer picture of the rack. Sorry that they are not very clear, but my computer skills are very limited and I did the best that I could.
