Wyoming Deer
I hope a few people can answer a few questions for me about Wyoming hunting, specifically in region F. My group will be in region F for the October opener. We are planning on hunting the eastern part of the region.
What type of hunting pressure can we expect to run into? Are the deer in the eastern flat lands on the opener of the season, or do the deer migrate from Yellowstone to the eastern part of the region? What would be an average buck be? Are there any special techniques for hunting the flatter country in Wyoming? Any other tips would be much appreciated.

Region F is around the Cody, Powell area. I live in Powell, but I mostly hunt the South Fork of the Shoshone out of Cody.
Most of the flat land is private and doesn't open until Nov. 1. If you are coming for the Oct. 15th opener, most of that is on National Forest so you will be looking at the mountains.
Let me know more of your plans and I'll see if I can help.
