the way i see it ky isnt over hunted and mismanaged like pa is. you know a state has a good thing goin when you look at the b&c kills and you have a good many on the left and you also have some on the right. the number of deer and the size of the bucks amazes me.... it sure is unlike where i am living now.

I also hunt with jjones some the guy who posted the pictures of the huge ky bucks. Our farms are over an hour apart there are good bucks all over the state. My farm is located near the old game trail farms as you see all of the hunts on tv

Back in the late 40's KY deer herd was down to a 1000 animals, In early 50's Ky started importing deer from Wi. So they took deer with genes for cold weather and larger deer besides, they put them in a warmer climate and you can see the results. Ky has over a million now.
