Just go hunt it and if thet catch you out there say your lost.
Just joking but that seems to be the way people ask me. Just do what the other guy's said you can't go wrong. All they can do is say no.

i am a remodeling contractor,i have got plenty of hunting permits after doing work for people in my area. i have found that sometimes if you go in the spring and ask to varmint hunt ,most farmers will let you. that gives me all summer to prove i can hunt safely around the livestock. then after getting to know the owner better i'll ask to deer hunt,sometimes i don't even have to ask. they just invite me to hunt.
