This question came from another post of mine. Another member posted he hunted with 9 others on 3,000 acres. This is all he said but his statement might not be clear unless he posts on this question.
Our family hunts up to 5 on 120 acres.

In our club it works out to about 1 per 235 acres, but there are a few turkey hunters and a few that deer hunt only 2 or 3 times per year so it is actually better.

We don' t have a set number of hunters per so many acres. We have a deer quota maximum. How many should hunt a property is determined a lot by how many deer use the property and the buck doe ratio. We have 1000 acres with aprox. 1 deer per 10 acres and 1 buck per 1.5-2 does.
We take a max of 10 bucks per year (averages 7-8) and 15 does per year. 16 different people got to hunt this year, however, some were only allowed to take does.

7 hunters on 50 acres the first day then it goes to about four of five. Let me tell you, there are not very many deer that that make it thorught the property the first few hours. But buy 11 am most of the guys are in the truck eating lunch.
