Default Deer deception decoy

I use this at the edge of fields where the trails enter food plots. When the deer use the trail you are never sat up at.Just place this decoy at the other trails and they will funnel toward you away from the dummy.

You bet I do ,In the right circumstances it works great. There was a corn field I use to hunt.It had several used trails leading to the field.Everytime I would set up at one trail the deer would use the other trail. Id switch and they would switch. So I would set up the dummy or even tie a piece of clothing on the trail I wont be setting at. I,ve watched the deer approach the field , they spotted the decoy ,sniffed the air and circled back around and would approach from my side. All the time they would be watching the decoy area. bingo QUESS what to late zig, whack ,pass thru ,dead deer.Never new what hit them.I out smarted some smart bucks already doing that. Just one of my unusally methods I used over the years. Now anymore I'm happy with a doe.Cant do all that preparation anymore, without good legs.

Cardeer that is a great idea. I hunt soybean fields when bow season first comes in and all the deer come into the bean fields to feed in the evenings. But you can watch the fields and if you set up where the deer come out every evening they will come out somewhere else when you are there. Deer are very careful around here before they come into an open field. I need to get one of those, to block the main trail and the deer will circle around just like you said and come out by me. But I would not want another hunter to see me carrying something like that.

I'd turn and run from a chick that looked like that also. You might get her to wash her face at least.

I'd like to borrow that one though, I got a couple of buddies that would probably be attracted to it: as is. Probably buy her a drink and fire up a cigarette for her.

I guess "goldie" could be used for that purpose too! Of course she's special.

Dave I think cardeer keeps goldie in the stand with him, but you may want to ask cardeer if that is true or not.

Not a bad idea! I'm gonna have to ask Big Country to bring along his collection of inflatatales when we go to Illinois!
