Be Careful
I received news that a good friend of mine was killed today. We had played football together since little league. You guys who have played high school football know how a lot of teams are. Everyone is close.
He was cleaning his rifle and didn't check if it was loaded. And unfortunately it had one in the chamber. I don't know how it got set off but the thing killed him. He was almost 17 years old.
Keep you're guns unloaded and stay safe out there.

Unfortunately, an all too common mistake. Good friend of mine, lady on the police force. Had 4 years service. Cleaning herauto-loading hand gun service weapon. Checked chamber clear. Then reomoved the clip - bass-akwards !!Had racked in a round. Pulled the triggger. Bullet went through her upper leg. Got the femoral - bled out. She was about 25 years old.
