Default RE: How do bucks enter their beds? With or against the wind?

The country we hunt is mostly sloped so the deers back will be on the uphill side when they lay down ,no animal lays with thier body downhill . The wind is usually uphill during the day so that would put it to thier front . For all of that I have seen bucksbed down in open fields in the middle of the day as long as it is in the shade .
