Just wondering what your thoughts are on the North American Hunting Club and if any of you are members. I am currently a member and it seems to be a pretty good club so far.

I was a member a few years back, it was a major waste. They send you items that you didn't order or want then bill you for them. They say you can field test items and then keep them, every month I sent the field test card back in never once got to test anything. Think it's only the life members that get that benefit. In my opinion it's a rip off. The only decent thing was the magazine.

I currently get the magazine but will let it expire. I had several problems with this company, they seem very unorganized. I was getting the book collection and several times they sent the same book or empty box. Then they tried charging me twice. I ended up getting the whole collection and the coins that were supposed to come with it didn't. I called up and they said I could buy them, after explaining my case they said they would send the rest and they still didn't, about 5 months later. It's a shame I like the magazine but I'm tired of dealing with them.

1) You are not required to accept or pay for something you didn't order. If you send it back unopened with a note stating that you don't want unsolicited items you don't have to pay the postage, and they will take you off the mailing list.

2) The Field Test Program is open to all members, which means that you're in line with several hundred thousand others. You don't get sent items just for being a member, you have to fill out a Field test form and submit it, even after receiving a test item if you want the chance to test other items. Learn the rules and follow them.

Yeah I'm a life member. And as keven1 said you have to submit the field test forms to get items to test and recieve future items to test.

I am a life memeber. Have been for quite a few years. Not impressed with them at all. They can,t even get my magazine subscription figured out. Over the last 2 yrs i have only gotten 4. Numerous e-mails sent and to no avail.

I have been a member for five years now. My first two years was good. No problem at all, I even got to field test two different things. The last three have not been so good, seems like after I renewed they stopped paying attention. At least two magazines never even showed up.
