How rare is it to still see antlers on a deer this time of year? I was driving and happened to glimpse a forkhorn that still had one side. I live in MD by the way.

i am not sure how likely it is, but i watched a 130" buck with both sides yesterday in kansas.

Northern deer will usually shed before the southern deer. I picked up a couple of cameras this weekend that had 10 or 15 different bucks on the chip, all had their antlers.

In Western Kansas I am getting some bucks with antlers on my camera and have seen a few others with antlers while I have been out and about. I would say about half have shed according to my pictures I am getting. Pretty late in the year for here.

SE Alabama - Headed back to camp after a meal at a friend's this past Saturday night, around 09:30, buck crossed the road in front of me. Racked up - 8 pointer. Not uncommon down here.
