Throw n Grow?
 
i live in southern ohio and wanting make a food plot. my family farms about 2500 acres but would like something easy to plant for deer and wanted to know if throw n grow works and does do a good job?

I live in clinton county ohio

I would think if you have a 2500 acre farm you would have something planted that would be a LOT better as deer forage than throw and grow.

Yup. Leave a couple acres standing, next to a field of wheatought to be a winner. If you want to plant something just for the deer. Try oats, (around here atleast)its much preferred over wheat. I worked a deer showlast weekendnext to a booth withtwo boys from your part of the country, with your sized property, doing just plain corn/wheat/beans and they were selling hunts for $3500 a week.
