Default Scent-Loc worth it?

is scent-lok gear worth all the money? i have talked to some hunters who swear by it, and have the trophies to back it up. i have also talked to hunters who dont use anything like it, and kill deer every year. any opinions?

i think that stuff is just a waste of money. i buy regular hunting clothes then i buy the spray and the wash stuff. its alot cheaper than buying the scent-free clothes

I use nothing. I usually have on my work clothes when I hunt and kill 6-7 deer a year. I keep the sun at my back, the wind in my face and stay still. I hunt on the ground and shot my biggest buck so far on the ground with my bow. Waste of money.

It's who you ask. I don't use it so I say spend your money on other things like more guns, bows, etc.

Don't waste your mnoey - but do use products to reduce your scent, and play the wind.

I have some friends who swear by it because the season they started using it they saw noticably more deer. When I get them talking there were other things they also changed, like deciding to be way more concious of scent control!

Does it work as advertised? Heck no! Does it reduce scent that comes off your body? Maybe. does it "reactivate" in the dryer? Nope, chemists say no way.
