My family owns 600 acres but about 400 of it is open ground, not a lot of trees and deer dont frequent these areas much. So that leaves me with 200 and i also have access to 100-150 acres that we dont own.

I have permission to hunt on 300+ acres of private, but almost all of this property connects to good public land, so I usually prefer to set up a little deaper in the public land. Early season I hug the food sources and during the rut it's all about doe bedding areas and funnels.

our home farm is 400 acres and then we have some permission to hunt some other pieces of land. my buddy also has some land that we both can hunt which puts us between 2,500-3,500 acres
