Hay guys it is that time of the year again. Time to start planning next year’s hunting trip; off again to the Midwest. I’m a Michigan bowhunter who has been applying for IA points with the hopes of getting into some big old boyz. Does anyone know a good place to head preferably in Zone 8 or 9 for whitetails? I’m even open to any other Midwest state, Indiana, Nebraska or even Kansas. I don’t like to use a guide; I’d rather “do it myself.” Then when I tag or don’t tag one I only have myself to blameJ Anyone have an Aunt or Uncle willing to swap some work for a couple days of hunting privileges.

I would check out OH.!! No worrying about drawing a lic. and OH. has just as big of bucks as IA. I live in PA. and have been hunting in OH. for the last 7 years and there is no reason for me to drive thru the entire state of OH. just to hunt states such as IL. and IA.
especially since I can just buy my OH. lic. over the counter or online. Pike
