Those are really rare and unique deer, I think that they are a credit to life and should be respected

I have been hunting for 16 years and I have seen 4 piebold and 0 albino. We had a 15 inch 8 point albino seen a few years ago but we did not kill it and we stopped seeing it.Ï

I guess I' m lucky...where I hunt, we' ve seen quite a few piebalds over the years(like a couple dozen). We' ve never seen an albino.
I killed a piebald doe a few years ago with my bow, and last season my buddy' s 14yr old son killed his first buck ever...a piebald spike!! I wonder what the odds of that are?? It should look nice on his wall...:)
That was the first piebald buck we ever saw up there in almost 20 years, all the rest have been does.

How often you see piebald or albono deer has a lot to do with the genetics of the herd in your area. I' ve seen a picture from Wisconsin where you can see 2 albino deer, a good buck & a fawn.
Has anybody seen a leucistic deer? That' d be a deer with white fur, but everything else is normally colored. True albinos have pink eyes & noses.
I saw a leucistic squirrel once on a golf course.

I have never seen one but my dad was saying how he seen one in his car one night feeding on the side of the road. I think it would be amazing to see one in the wild.

Well in over 35 years of hunting I have never seen an albino and have seen only one piebald, to be honest though I am not sure if it was a piebald in the true definition of the term. The does hind quarters were totally normal, but the entire front half of the deer looked like a palimino pony, it was black, light brown, dark brown, and white! Another odd thing about her was her front legs were so much shorter than the front that she took two steps in the front for every one in the rear. I saw her once and my cousin saw her once, we never heard of anyone killing her and only saw her once each that one year.
