'08 buck
My brother and I both got the honor to take this buck during the '08 shotgun season. We had been sitting in different areas until he saw a couple does run accross the field and into the timber between him and I. I was unable to see them and he just decided he was cold and would walk the timber to meet up with and hopefully run something to me in the process. He kicked up a 2 does and lost track of them in some mullflower rose but they eventually worked their way to me shortly after he met up with me. (at the mullflower rose he walked the field edge so he must have gotten ahead of them) We each bagged a doe and walked over to drag them into the field. We just get mine in the field and this big 8 comes out 20 yds away. We both shoot and both hit it square in the killzone. We decided that we are going to go halfsies on the mount and that it will be hung on the wall at our fathers house.
