Okay you didn't have to show the rest of them, now I'm jealous. That's quite an accomplishment. Congrats. I too like the 14 pt. the best.

If it was caped properly, you should see nothing.
People who do it competively cape them without any cuts. At least the better taxidermists. BTW- I love that semi-sneak pose. Nice looking mount.
HUH??? How do you expect to get the horns off and then back on? Maybe if it was a doe and she had a really little head..... To minimize stiching and time you can use the "7" incision at minimum. Some do whole split some do the 7. For commercial its preference. For competition most use the 7......

Also cape job has nothign to do with it although it does help.The stiching is what hides it ad if you cant stitch properly and paid attention to as it drysthen the hair will stick up andthe stich line will be very visible.WCL
