If you shot a World record buck.
Would you sell the rack for money?
Would you keep it to yourself? Would you just skull cap it and put it on the barn door with all the others? |
RE: If you shot a World record buck.
I would sell the replica and keep the real antlers

RE: If you shot a World record buck.
Keep it. I would always know that it isn't the real deal.

RE: If you shot a World record buck.
I would have a replica made, and take the $$$.

RE: If you shot a World record buck.
Keep the rack for sure, because every time I looked up at the real rack that I worked hard to get I would remember that moment.

RE: If you shot a World record buck.
I think I would license the replica and any pictures associated with it. Not worry about making too much money. The real deer would be mine, like every other trophy I shoot.
Money would be nice and I would not turn it away. I doubt I would completely sell out by giving the mount up. Perhaps if Cabelas wanted to take it for a spin at every store for the next 3 years... sure but, not for keeps. |
RE: If you shot a World record buck.
I spose it depends on how muchmoney they're offering....
If it was enough moneyto be life changing for myself and my family, I'd keep the replica and sell the rack. Otherwise, it'd be on the wall in my den. -nosualc |
RE: If you shot a World record buck.
As pickool said I would have everything associated with it licensed and it insured. Then if anyone wanted to display it they could usea replica .I figure that you might make a chunk of change if you handle it right plus product endorsements. |
