A trophy mount is your real antlers. MAYBE, covered by it's own hide, maybe NOT! Just as a cherished picture on the wall is notEXACTLY the real thing, but cherished none the less! Because it is a reminder or snapshot of a moment in time!
For the money that a world record mount would bring, I'd takethereplica and think of thatinstant in time when I pulled the trigger, with each BUCK I spend!:D

You don't have to sell the real antlers to make a small fortune off of a WR whitetail and I would never sell the real antlers myself.

Just to the "tour" for a couple of years.



All of the Magazines and television shows would bestanding in linefor your face time in their pages or on their show.

Cabelas and BP would be offering you all kinds of money for just replicas of the antlers.

All of the manufacturers of any little hunting item that you used on that hunt would be throwing money at you for your promotion of their "miracle _______". From deer grunts and pee to treestands to the Chevy truck that got you to that remote location.

The people lining up to throw money at you would be insane.



But the sad thing is that none of this would have happened just 20 years ago.

First I am taking tons of pics. Then I am seeing if I can get a replica of the rack made and sell it to the highest bidder. Show me the money baby.

i would get a full body mount and put it in the living room and keep it to tell storyies to my grandchildren and i would defently not sell them
