What ATV are you riding?
 

Any of you guys use an ATV to go out hunting? Or just use in general? Im in the process of getting an 08 Polaris Sportsman 500 (Mossy Oak!). Just wondering how you like using one. Thanks guys.

I have a 2005 Polaris 700 and love it. No problems what so ever.

I dont use it for hunting but i have a 04 honda300ex. I use my truck for hunting.

Yes,i have a yamaha kodiak,which i use to drag out my deer here on my own property when possible.

You cant go wrong with a Polaris Sportsman! We had one for a few years but sold it because we didn't really need it.

I have a 2004 Yamaha Big Bear 400 2 wheel drive that currently has 5,975 miles without a hiccup. I had 5,800 miles on the original tires.

My son has a 2003 Yamaha Beartracker 250 that easily has over 7000 miles on it, but that model doesn't have a odometer or hour meter. My son and I ride these machines every day to check game cameras and hog traps, and my son uses his in his dog training.

Currently riding an '08 Kawi KFX 450R, more for fun then hunting.;)

I dont think I would have much success using my Banshee to get a deer out of the woods so I use a sled......not a snowmobile......a sled. works without snow as well.

I use a 99 YAMAHA BIG BEAR 350cc
Its a 4x4 with a wintch .
I use it abought 60 % of the time for hunting and clearing trails .
Very handy and worht its weight in gold .
Make sure you get a wintch with yours .
Although not used much it comes in very handy when stuck or even to lift a deer up to put on the rack of your 4 wheeler .

I have an 03 polaris 500 Mossy Oak use it for hunting and playing around great wheeler no complaints.

2005 honda four-trax and rancher. i used my 2009 yamaha raptor 700 this year once because my uncle and cousin were using the other ones

I have an 07 Suzuki 450 King Quad. I don't use it for hunting though but use it every day all winterfor ice fishing

07 polaris 500 x2, it has the extra seat and a dumpbed . its the perfect atv for trail riding with the wife or hunting.

'05 Honda Rincon 650. It's my second Honda - the first was a Rancher 350 2 wheel drive. No troubles at all with either.

Well, i got approved for my loan today and as of tomorrow will own a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 w/Mossy Oak camo! Cant wait to get er' out on the ice this Sunday!

You mean Yamaha's not the only kind they make?? Man I gotta get out more!

Polaris use to have a problem with belts slippin when they got wet but they seem to have that under control now. What ever kind you get you defiantly want to get a winch.

400ex, don't use it too hunt too much.. I can usually take my truck pretty far.. When I can't I borrow the farmers Kubota...

I got a camo Polaris 700EFI with bumpers and a winch. You are doing yourself a big favor by getting the Polaris. Alot of guys (myself included) waste time and money taking those baby steps with other brands until they finally arrive at the top. Along the way they just don't realize it but once atop the mountain they can look down and see. Nothing beats the Polaris AWD system and descent control.

I have a few guys around with other lesser brand ATVs and I outkill them deer wise 3-to-1 easy. (plus have to drag them out of the mud and woods occasionally to boot)

In my area(NE MS) 2008 700 Grizzly $6,000 w/o power steering $6,300 with.
I used mine for loading deer, pulling limbs off food plots, unloading and loading thingson trailer, raising the walls on my shop and numerous other things. Once you have one you'll wonder how you ever made it without one

I bought a windshield for it, along with handwarmers, front bumper, and front/rear hand rails. Those handwarmers sure are nice when heading out on the bay ice fishing!

Man you're right about wasting time and money on lesser bikes but you need to make that final step and come on up to the Yamaha level.

It seems like you got all the bases covered. I don't know to much about ice fishing I went a couple of times with my brother in Mich. We don't have a big call for that down here.

When I decided to buy I compared a lot of different machines, all from Honda's line-up.
You simply can't go wrong buying a Honda.

i was driving an 05 artic cat 500m. i was happy with it but decided i wanted something else so i bought an 08 polaris rzr very impressed with what it will do.

i have a friend that has the same RZR ,great atv.

some one said they were just aproved for buying a polaris,be careful how you finance threw the dealers. taking the cheapest payment the first 2 yrs will cost you a fortune in the long run. at the end of 2 yrs you will still own the original amount.. go with a fixed rate interest or finance somewhere other than a dealer.

I have a 04 polaris ATP 330 and my dad has a 04 Honda ES 450.

I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 H.0. in Mossy Oak. It's the best quad I have ever had. Never had a problem with it. In the spring I amgoing to getthe 2009 SportsmanBrowning LE550.
