I was sitting over a L shaped greenfield watching to my left where the deer usualy come from.
A small spike walked out and stayed for about 45 minutes. I catch something to my right and her he comes down the woodline.
He charged at the spike and ran him off as I was getting my rifle set up. He turned broadside and I put him down.

Nice deer. Looks small body wise compared to deer here in Wisconsin. What did he weigh? Is that a big buck down south?? I am not knocking your deer just curious in the difference between northern and southern deer.

Heck of a buck! There body sizes may differ from up North, but Im sure they are just as hard to hunt! Congrats!
