I just want to say that I absolutely love to hunt, but nothing makes me happier than being a dad....I love being a dad, my 17 month old son is the greatest and brings me more joy than anything else in the world...Anybody else feel the same way?

I have two boys 9 and 11 my 11 year old got his first deer this year it was the best day ever .His grandfather was with use to share the moment. My 9 year old is going to hunt the 2009 season with us.

Im only 17 But i cant wait to have My little buddy to go hunting with. Ill prolly take him out as soon as he can understand whats going on.

Grandaddy is better.

I've got a little while to wait before one of mine is old enough. My daughter turns 4 on the 31st, but she's a real girly-girl and I don't have high hopes that she'll be interested in hunting. She does absolutely LOVE venison steak though, so I know she'll eat deer, but I don't know if someday she'll be willing to kill one. My son is only 20 months old, and I have no doubt he'll be a good hunting buddy someday, but he's got a lot of growing to do first. My wife is due with our third in March... so time will tell.

Here is my crew. This year for Christmas pics. My oldest girl is 12 and hunts with me. The others want to go all the time.

That's why I take my little girl hunting with me. Then I get the best of both worlds.

I have 2 boys---6 and 8, and a brand new babyy girl. Both of the boys got their first deer last year on opening day of the youth hunt. Nothing made me prouder, until my oldest accepted Christ as Lord last spring. One down, 2 to go.
