I got my first deer I got it on my Grandmas Farm in October on 10/25/08, It is an 8 pointer. I sat in my grandmas barn in the hay room by the bale escalator.

Ya I was a little excited and I kinda rushed the shot. I was in the barn to the left of me. It was cold that morning

He dropped like a rock when I shot him I hit the jugular, I got my first lesson in dragging an 180lb deer to the house, It felt like nothing because of the adrenaline rush. He sure was tasty did not have any gamey flavor to it at all it tasted like beef. This was a hard hunt I walked around the farm every day because my ex-grandpa is a real ***hole he ran around on our farm during season on the ATV chasing deer around there was so may times when I was in my stand ad he drives up the hill and I wanted to kill him. But I got lucky one morning I decided to stay on the bottom of the hill and he did not wake up early tha is the reason I got this buck.

Ya know grandma can decline grandpa permission to hunt her land now that they are ex's (unless there was some weirdo divorce agreement). Anyhow, doesn't sound like much of a grandpa to me.
