Depends on the land and the style of hunting. One of my tracts of land is 10 acres of flat, moderately wooded river bottom. It would accomodate two bow hunters earlyin the season when there is low visibility, but i wouldnt want more than one person hunting it during gun season.

I live on and hunt in 10 acres of hardwoods that's adjacent to an undeveloped property of 80 acres that is one big deer bedroom. It's all about location.

I hunt small land. between 5-25 acres. I like it. i have the spots to myself. And, it's easier to pick where to go because your not lost in a bigger tract.

I don't hunt anything less than 10 right now, but if I had a good spot I would!

I have 2 acres at my place. My house sits on it so its less than 2 on which I can hunt. I usually hunt across town but for ****s and giggles I put up a stand and actually saw some deer in shooting range.

I hunt at my father's house where I grew up. He has 10 acres total...about 6 woods. That is surrounded by similar tracts. I see more deer in a day on that chunk of land than many see all season.

A couple weeks ago, I could see 31 at one time. About 15 of those were within bow range.

I think it makes it easier to hunt small patches because of what Redskin said. You basically have a couple of choices of where to put a stand depending on wind.

That said...if you have 10 acres to hunt and there are no deer there...those 10 acres really stink. (DUH):D
