I've done the majority of my hunting from the ground. It helps to conceal yourself completely from head to tow in camo, then sit somewhere you can blend in with the background so you don't stick out. Then be prepared to have some real adrenaline rushing close encounters. Twice this year I had deer walk within 5yds of me. When they're that close you can't even breathe or make eye contact. Talk about a rush!
