Default bringing deer in from across a field

this year i encountered many deer across a field (100-300 yards most of the time) im planting a food plot next year so there will be a lot more deer in the field. i thoughht maybe a decoy would work but how can i bring them across the fields?

Why not set up a trail camera, do some preseason scouting, and set up a little closer to the deer.

find a good place to lay down or get a bipod, if u are using a rifle, and you wont need to get them across the field lol

If it is during the rut, make a trail with scent within 30 yards of your stand (don't have them walking in a direct line to you). A call can also work great on bucks and does.

Decoys will definitely work during the rut, otherwise they won't pay much mind. A food plot will help. I don't know all the circumstances... I.E... someone elses property on the other side, bad wind onthe other side, but I would scout and try to figure out what's keeping them over there. Then try to make it better on your side.

There is one thing that I have seen that worked pretty efficiently at pulling deer off of neighbors property. The "Lil Green Can" it's a doe in heat call that bucks answer to. Only one that I have had luck in using, most of the other calls just seem to alert the deer to where I am sitting. But at the same time I am not that great with calls. But you could give it a try, I think it'sa primos call.

What are you hunting with? Take your rifle, start shooting, and shoot them at that range! If your bow hunting or just want them closer, try "the can" also use scents!

Seems like an ideal situation to set up a ground blind.
