coyote hunting?

RE: coyote hunting?
.22lr is a bit light for coyotes in my neck of the woods. I routinely use a .22WMR with great success, however. If your only option is a .22, make sure you put it dead on the heart or in the head.
Shooting them at 75 yards isn't the problem. Getting them to stand still long enough to get a good shot on one is.

Yote hunting is a blast. I do lots of varmit hunting in the off season. 22LR is to light for yotes, they will kill them close if you hit them perfect, but to many varibles. Personaly I dont even like the 22mag unless they are very close. Any of the 22 centerfires are fine and up to the .25's are great. I have a 22-250 and a 25-06 that i use the most. Get you some calls and go give it a try, the can be tough to call in sometimes, there a smart animal.
