Savage 110, 7mm REM Mag ?
#1

They're asking $275 for it. A guy brought it in to sell because his kid got in trouble and he needs the money. The shop owner figures it's 10 years old. The action is smooth, it's got a wood stock and looks pretty good. It hasa Universal 3x9 scope on it. I've never heard of Universal. The shop owner has shot it and says it's very accurate. My question is...Is it worth $275?

I just bought one similar in 300 win mag for $200,but if I had shot the gun first and was asked to give 275 for it I would have still bought it,that sounds like a fair price and you can always put the scope on a 22 or something and replace it with better later down the road.this is the second savage that I have owned and they both shoot moa with factory ammo and I have only tried rem. core loct 150's in it.It may really shoot with some hornady's or nosler's,not saying that remington ammo is no good but a lot of my rifles like hornady ammo, but all are different. My remington 700 in 243 loves fed. fusions.Good Luck!!

I've got a savage 110 7mm MAG. $275 is fair. It will shoot golf balls at 100 yards. Check the stock right behind the safety to make sure it's not cracked. Mine started to crack there so I bought a Baker thumbhole for it.

Love the Savage 7mm that I have. Haven't had the chance to use it in the woods yet due to where I hunt in Maryland, but its a fun shooting and accurate rifle either way. Price doesn't sound too bad to me either.

I have the same gun, but about 3 years older. It is well worth the money. I'd put a better scope on it down the road. You will always be able to sell it off later if you want for at least the same price.
