I use it and is worth it. It makes the worst part of field dressing a deer much easier. For ~$10 it is worth it. You can wash it and reuse it so that is not a problem either.

Cut the skin around the ass, insert your knife and "saw" around the intestine
reaching in as far as you can. Pull the guts out and the ass comes with it. It's so easy and fast that no other tools are needed. |

Two words BUY IT. The only thing is u have to turn it more than the 1/4 turn per directions. It's great and easy to do.

I think if you are a newbie fielddresser then it is a good investment. If you are experianced like magicman you probably don't need it. My guess since you are asking it is the former. So I recommend it.
